Fernando graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from the Catholic University of Paraná. (PUC-PR) in 1981. Throughout his career he was an advisor to the Council of Historic and Artistic Patrimony of Paraná and architect of the Institute of Research and Urban Planning of Curitiba (IPPUC), where he headed the urban furniture sector and historical patrimony, helped develop the Curitiba Integrated Transport Network (RIT), the “New Urban Curitiba” Plan and several revitalization projects. Between 1991 and 2002, he was an advisor both at the municipal and state levels. At this time, he collaborated in the development of iconic projects and programs such as the Science Park, the Streets of Citizenship, the Cultural Combo and the Memorial of the City of Curitiba. In 2003 he became a founding partner of Jaime Lerner Associated Architects, where he collaborates with projects of the most varied scales.
