Estudo Preliminar Eixo de Transporte Norte-Sul

Study of the implementation of the North-South Axis of passenger transportation for the Metropolitan Region of Recife, with an approximate length of 40km, connecting the Igarassu Terminal, to the north, with the future Cajueiro Seco Terminal, to the south. The axis will meet an estimated demand of 300,000 passes per day, through the proposed implementation of an exclusive lane along its entire length, in which comfortable and air-conditioned articulated buses will circulate for the four proposed trunk lines. The system also provides for prepaid and level boarding, as well as the implementation of an elevated metallic structure track over the channel of Avenida Agamenon Magalhães.
